I was blessed to go back to my Christian roots. Christian Center of Fort Worth, Texas is the first church that I became a member of. They taught me my foundations stones of the bible and how to stand on them. They taught me that no matter how tough the going got...stay in church. I haven't always heeded that word, but I have always gone back to it.
Going back the church was a real treat for me. Seeing the changes in the physical buildings and the incredible increase the Leah VanZant Love Center has taken on took my breath away. To think that we started out in the gym to feed the homeless and now have a huge building with many rooms, brings Psalms 23 to mind.
The familiar faces of old friends was a sight for sore eyes. Very timely and much needed for me. I received a lot of hugs and kisses and shed a lot of tears of joy. It was great to be home again.
One thing that made it even more special is that I was able to witness Darrell and Charity dedicate their baby Leah to God. It was quite an awesome service and a treat for me. By the time service was over and I went to the book table to sign books, I was a bit of a mess, as you will see, but I have posted the pictures anyway. It's all for God's glory! Enjoy.
